A multi-site restaurant group seek an experienced Bookkeeper on a part-time, permanent basis. The head offices for the restaurant are located in Mayfair, W1J. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a strong bookkeeper to join an expanding restaurant group.

Responsibilities include:

  • Full accounts payable and accounts receivable function
  • Daily bank updates, entering payments and receipts
  • Weekly Bank reconciliations
  • Cash Flows
  • Credit Control
  • Monthly Journals including accruals and prepayments
  • Assisting with monthly management information, working closely with external accountancy practice
  • Quarterly VAT returns
  • Setting up bank payments, BACS, and supplier payments
  • Monthly payroll and PAYE

The ideal candidate will have experience with XERO accounting software as well as experience working in a multi-site restaurant group.

An amazing opportunity for an ambitious Finance Director or CFO to work within an exciting and ever-expanding brand marketing agency in London EC1.

The agency has experienced phenomenal growth over the past few years. They are looking for an individual with the commercial and strategic experience who can influence the continued growth of the business. The role is offered on a permanent part-time basis, 2 to 3 days per week.

What you will be doing:

  • Review and improve internal accounting procedures and policies, continuing the development of internal controls
  • Review monthly reports produced by the Financial Controller and provide insight and analysis to evaluate business performance
  • Cash flow management
  • Present to MD and Creative Directors
  • Provide advice and support for commercial decisions, identifying and maximising business opportunities
  • Provide advice and support in the development of pricing and reviewing of terms and contracts
  • Control costs and margin targets across the business ensuring these are in line with forecasts
  • Strategic and commercial support to the Board
  • Build various models including Financial Planning and analysis

What you will need:

  • Candidates must have experience working with an SME within a creative environment
  • Minimum of 5 years post qualified experience ACCA/CIMA or ACA
  • Ability to build business relationships and identify potential revenue opportunities

Salary: £80,000 - £95,000 Pro Rata
