A fabulous opportunity has arisen for an experienced Chief of Staff to be based in Bermuda and support the Principal of a very successful USA firm with multiple interests and private requirements.
Assisting with the purchase of property and recruitment of household staff and screening/initial interviews. Liaising with household staff and supervision of rotas and household requirements. Oversee all aspects of renovation of a large residential property including goods to be shipped in. Upkeep and overseeing of a US property.
Travel with the Principal when required (Canada US and UK). Family related duties will include schooling, activities, school applications, liaising with nannies and professionals with regard to the care of the children.
Dealing with all personal appointments, meetings, travel, hospitality, events, gifts, invitations, dinners and private diary. Liaising with corporate staff when needed.
Assisting the Principal with managing the Bermuda office (5). Assist with payments/invoices, tax and regulatory filings, record keeping and administrative duties for the office.
A degree is required and 5 years++ minimum as a Chief of Staff in a multi tasking role covering both Private and Corporate support. Total confidentiality and discretion will be expected. Experience overseeing household staff and a willingness to work outside normal hours is a norm for you.
Able to make relationships quickly you will be the "go to person" to assist the Principal.
Excellent written and spoken English skills, able to compose correspondence and deal with email flow.
Excellent IT and organisational skills is essential and a bright and helpful personality is essential.
