Head Chalet Housekeeper in Val D'Isere

3,500 Euros a month + accommodation, ski + lift pass, and meals

Job Descriptions

Head Housekeeper with top notch service skills sought for an exciting new chalet opening in one of the most beautiful resorts in France. You will be based in Val D’Isere and work as part of a small close knit team who are all dedicated to ensuring the first season of this luxury chalet is perfect. A keen eye for detail is key, high standards and taking pride in your work. You will love service and front of house, as well as organising and putting household processes and systems together in the background.

The chalet will be used as a mix of private use by the owners and friends, as well as rented externally.

Duties

  • Liaising with local tradespeople in regards to servicing and repairs etc.
  • Inventory set up and management of linens and other provisions in the chalet.
  • Daily clean of communal areas and guest bedrooms, including a turn down service.
  • Assisting the chalet management couple with service breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner with a high level of service and professionalism
  • Deep clean of chalet on changeover days
  • Creating a cosy, welcoming atmosphere for guests and visitors.

Requirements

  • Experience in hospitality industry such as yachts, chalets and hotels
  • High standard and knowledge of service
  • Team player- who is not afraid of hard work as well as lots of fun!
  • Eye for detail- level of cleanliness, standard of service
  • Over 21 years old
  • Fluent French and English speaking
