Temp chef needed for South of France – 9th -30th July.
Family of 4 + guests require a temporary chef for 3 weeks from 9th – 30th July in Aix en Provence. There will approximately be between 5/6-20 people during these time but will vary each week (this will be confirmed nearer the time). The family are young: husband and wife both in their early 30s, two children 6 and 8. They are UHNWI however they are very low key, there is no ‘maintenance’ to them.
They like a very relaxed and charming environment, they don’t want anything Michelin restaurant style nor do they want white glove service. The person needs to be calm, chilled and with a great personality. Sometimes they will want to cook themselves which will mean the chef doesn’t need to. They are a very personable and warm family.
They enjoy buffet style food. So rather than plated food it’s on a table and each person can take as they please. I think if the menus can be pre planned would be helpful, they also enjoy grocery shopping in France themselves so this may be a shared job between the family and the chef. They’d like healthy food, with a mixture of cuisines. £120-£150 a day + expenses, travel and accommodation.
