Head Housekeeper in Kensington

• Days and hours: Monday - Friday 9:30am - 6:30/7pm (flexibility needed for events)
• Location: South Kensington, London
• Start: ASAP (or from January if preferred)
• Allergies: Child (G4) is allergic to some nuts and sesame

We have a wonderful role for an experienced Head Housekeeper to work for a family in South Kensington, London. The family is two Principals and their 4-year-old daughter, who started reception in September. They live in a 2-storey 3-bed property, with a small patio/garden.

You will be contracted to work 45 hours per week, ordinarily working 9.30 am - 6.30 pm Monday - Friday.

We are looking for someone who is confident and passionate about preparing nutritious meals and is happy to learn new recipes. You will be also responsible for full housekeeping duties. The family is happy to support the role with a cleaner for ironing and deep cleaning. Although no formal childcare duties will be expected, it's important that the candidate will be child-friendly, as the family has a 4-year-old.

The family is looking for someone with a hands-on approach, quick to react to any changes, and with previous experience as a head housekeeper.

The main duties will be:

• Preparing healthy meals for the family
• Ordering groceries and online shopping; ensuring the household remains fully stocked
• General housekeeping duties
• Wardrobe management
• Running small errands, receiving deliveries and occasionally overseeing tradesmen
• Watering the plants and welcoming the gardeners for regular maintenance
