Live In House keeper/cook – Surrey (KT13)

A wonderful family made up of a husband and wife and 2 lovely sons aged 11 and 15 are looking for an experience housekeeper/cook. This is a full time role, Monday to Friday from 7am-7pm. The successful candidate will live in a beautiful studio cottage in the grounds of the house that is based in St Georges Hill and you will be required to work some weekends where overtime will be paid.

75% of the role will be:

• Cooking breakfast, lunch, dinner for family of four
• Managing stock for all kitchen and laundry requirements
• Managing the kitchen
• Shopping
• Detailed cleaning of all kitchen, dining and seating area in the kitchen area
• Setting the tables for meals and serving when necessary
• Meal planning with the family, being creative with ideas for both normal and diet food

Where the other 25% will be shared responsibilities with a live out housekeeper:

• Ironing
• Flower arranging
• Assisting with Pet care of two dogs to include feeding them
• Ensuring the house is secure and all is in place at the end of each working day
• Some driving duties, dropping the kids to school in the morning and helping with other runs when needed.

The family travel almost every school holiday, and regularly have extended family staying with them so you will be able to priories effectively and work efficiently under pressure.

To be a successful candidate, you must have a full driving licence and be confident to drive when required. You will also be experienced in preparing vegetarian/vegan dishes.

Salary: £550 net/week
