A busy UHNW family is seeking a highly qualified and experienced governess to join her household, working on a rota basis (2 weeks on/off). With three boys aged 7, 4.5, and 3.5, the candidate will play a pivotal role in their educational development, working closely with the current head nanny who holds a Norland qualification. The role entails providing academic support and overseeing the boys' educational needs, including preparation for the 7 exam in January 2025. The successful candidate will have a background in teaching and/or tutoring, preferably within UHNW households.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the current nannies, in creating and implementing a comprehensive educational plan tailored to each child's needs and developmental stage.
  • Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions focusing on a range of subjects, including but not limited to English, mathematics, science, and languages.
  • Foster a supportive and enriching learning environment that encourages intellectual curiosity and academic excellence.
  • Coordinate with external tutors and educational resources to supplement the boys' learning experiences.
  • Accompany the family on international travels during school holidays, ensuring continuity in educational activities and support.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to the boys' education, such as scheduling appointments, managing resources, and tracking progress.
  • Maintain open and clear communication with the family's PA and other household staff members, reporting on the boys' academic progress and any concerns or developments.

Requirements:

  • A background in teaching and/or tutoring, preferably with experience working in UHNW households.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and travel requirements.
  • Valid passport for international travels (the family spends a lot of time in the USA, and would need the nanny to hold a passport valid for a travel visa).

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and experienced educator to join a prestigious household and make a meaningful impact on the lives of three bright young boys.

A dynamic international family living between London, Edinburgh, and LA is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic nanny to assist with their baby, born in November 2023.
You will work on a rota basis for 2 weeks on/off, alongside another nanny placed by Leaman Consulting.
Responsibilities include organising engaging and educational activities, preparing nutritious meals (experience with weaning is essential), and light child-related housekeeping duties.
The primary focus will be on the baby, with additional responsibilities for their 8-year-old sibling, particularly during school holidays and while in LA. The older child is well-behaved and enjoys sports, so an active nanny happy to run around and play football with him is a must!
The family currently employs a maternity nurse, who will leave in April. The baby is established in a good routine for sleep and feeding. The ideal start date for the nanny position is April, allowing for a one-week transition period with the departing nurse.
The family seeks a nanny with a proven track record in baby care, possessing knowledge of developmental milestones and maintaining professionalism and expertise.
Currently, the family is renovating their home in London's Holland Park, which will be completed by summer. The role will start in Edinburgh and LA.
This opportunity presents an exciting prospect for a nanny seeking a long-term position with a wonderful family.

£50000.00 - £55000.00 per annum

A busy UHNW family living near Regent's Park is looking for an experienced and passionate nanny to join them from September onwards, helping with their two boys aged 3 and 5.
Their current nanny has been with them for a while and will be leaving in October, and the family would like to do a few weeks' handover with both nannies present.
The boys are in a good routine and enrolled in school and nursery (B3 is at a nursery near the house in the afternoons, and B5 goes to a private school full-time). The nanny will be responsible for all school runs, and anything related to the children's day-to-day schedule.
General nanny duties will be required - organise fun and educational activities, supervise homework, prepare light and healthy meals for the boys, etc...
You will join a fully-staffed household and will work in partnership with a PA, Housekeepers and a chef. Teamwork is very important for the family, to ensure the smooth running of the whole household!
The family would love to find a nanny speaking French, Swedish (or both!) and fluent English. They are a multilingual household and need the nanny to speak in either French or Swedish to the boys most of the time.
Worldwide travel will be needed throughout the year (for example, they will be in Brazil in September for a few weeks). The nanny will need to travel with them on most of those trips.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a nanny looking for their next long-term role in London!

  • Start Date: On or before September 2024
  • Salary: Up to £55K GPA, depending on experience and qualifications

£20 - £25 per hour

Busy first-time parents living in Covent Garden are looking for an experienced and passionate nanny to join them and help with their little girl (born in early January).
General nanny duties will be required - organise fun and educational activities, help with weaning, prepare healthy and balanced meals, focus on hitting all the milestones, and light housekeeping related to the child.
Both parents are working full-time, the mum will go back to work in May and would love to find someone who can start before to introduce them slowly to the little girl.
She works US hours, so would prefer to have someone start later in the day, who could help with the evening routine as she will sometimes have late calls. The dad has a busy international role and sometimes needs to travel on short-notice. When this happens, extra hours might be needed to help the mum.
The little girl is in a good routine, she sleeps well at night (wakes up once around 4am but goes back to sleep until 8am very easily!) She is mostly breastfed, but is also used to the bottle for late night feeds. The family is looking for someone who will become part of their family and help the little girl grow into a happy and thriving person.
This is a lovely role for a nanny looking for their next position in central London!

£35000.00 - £45000.00 per annum

We are looking for a nanny for a busy family with two children, aged 2.5 and 5 years-old. The role will be sole charge, working on average 60 hours per week, Monday to Friday (7am - 7pm) plus 2 babysits per week (Monday - Thursday, won't be used every week). The accommodation will comprise a private bedroom and bathroom within the family home but on its own floor away from the family. A driver is essential, and a car will be provided for duties if the nanny doesn't have her own car.
We are searching for a warm, energetic, and loving nanny, with experience of looking after children of a similar age. Both parents work mostly from the office, so the nanny must be confident sole charge. Someone very organised who will manage the children's schedules will be a good fit and the parents are keen for the nanny to focus on the children's education and development, ensuring they grow up to be happy and kind. The ideal candidate will enjoy being a bit silly with the children and laughing with them but, at the same time, also genuinely interested in helping the children learn and develop, both educationally and emotionally.
Both children are happy and healthy and in a good routine. The role will include typical nursery duties, preparing healthy meals and organising age-appropriate activities.
The eldest is at school full time and the youngest attends nursery 5 mornings a week. We would ask that our nanny help walk the dog during the times that the children aren't at home.
This is a fantastic long-term role for a nanny looking for their next position in London!
