Experienced Live Out housekeeper required for a lovely HNW family of 4 in a property in Regents Park, NW1.

You will be required to work as part of a team under the direction of the Head Housekeeper. Daily duties including general cleaning, laundry, occasional dog walking, informal service when required and occasional basic food preparation for breakfast. Working on a rotation with the rest of the team, usually Sunday – Thursday working two 12pm – 9pm shifts and three 7am – 4pm shifts, however the roster does changed monthly and some weekends may need to be worked depending on families movements, but the house manager will give notice at the beginning of the month. You will be professional, experienced and flexible. Travel to America will be required too. Experience working within HNW households (more than 1) luxury hotels and/or yachts.

Daily OR Live in Housekeeper - South West London

 

Live in or live out housekeeper required for UHNW Household. Primary responsibility will include an oversight of household organization, ensuring areas such as laundry and cleaning run efficiently and to a high standard.  Every day you will need to be directly involved in doing laundry and cleaning yourself. You will be responsible for the overall appearance and atmosphere of the house both on a day to day basis and during hosted events. You will work closely with the Principal of the household, assisting him directly with valet, wardrobe and personal duties – so experience with packing and unpacking, preparing outfits and so on is key. The role will require occasional travel with the Principal. They are looking for someone who has a hands-on approach and is willing to personally involve in daily household tasks. You will have a strong character and good communication skills. You must be trustworthy and able to demonstrate that you can handle confidential information appropriately.  You will work alongside other household staff and be a team player. Clean driving licence essential and confident in and around central London. You must have at least 5 years’ experience working as a professional housekeeper within U/HNW households or luxury hotels.

 

Salary £35,000 - £40,000 gross per annum (dependant on experience & living situation).

 

Hours: 09:30 – 21:00, 5 days per week, working two weekends per month.  Events and travel as required, both to rural locations in the UK and internationally. Some requirement to respond to calls and messages outside of working hours.

Live In Domestic Couple – South West London

A private family household are seeking to recruit a live in household couple (Butler/maintenance + Housekeeper/Laundry) to assist with the running of two properties for the Principal. Primary responsibilities will involve daily cleaning and laundry tasks. Maintenance tasks including hanging art work, oiling doors, lightbulb changes etc, driving and table service. Keeping on top of and maintaining the technical systems in the house, including sound systems, heating, and entertainment systems and so on.

Exceptional attention to detail is required, the right candidates must be extremely well organized and able to adapt to last minute changes.

 

The family are looking for a couple who are dynamic and very practical. You will both need to be flexible and able to work long hours during busy periods. You will both have a strong character and good communication skills, be trustworthy and able to demonstrate that you can handle confidential information appropriately.

 

At least one of you will need to be a confident driver and happy to run errands into Central London and driving luggage to and from airports.

 

Location: South West London, close to Richmond.

You must therefore be very good at managing your own time and work load. All high end housekeeping with specialist materials will be required, plus laundry, ironing and wardrobe management, liaising with contractors and the house manager.

The property is 3 bedrooms. This is a full time role where hours will need to be flexible. But generally speaking it will be Monday - Friday 10am-6pm with longer hours when the clients are here.
