Live-in Nanny in Birstein, Germany

€4500 - €5000 per month

Job Descriptions

A warm and active family is seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time nanny to care for their three children, ages G8, G7, and B5. The current nanny, who has been with the family for over two years, is leaving on October 10th, creating an opportunity for a new nanny to join this well-established household. The role offers a car, and the children attend school locally.
Their current nanny comes from a teaching background, and the family would love to find someone with a similar experience, though finding the right personality fit is the most important!
The role is shared with an au-pair, though the family is looking for an independent nanny who can have sole charge of the children.
The day starts at 6:45AM, when you will need to help get the children ready for school (starts at 8AM). They are back home by 1pm, when you will focus on educational activities. The children have a busy schedule in the afternoons, from ballet to piano lessons. In the mornings, the nanny focuses on children-related duties, from organising playdates, laundry (putting away clothes only), booking appointments, etc…
This is a fantastic role for a nanny looking for the next step in their career!

Duties:

  • Light housekeeping related to the children, including putting away laundry, organising toys/rooms, and maintaining their schedules.
  • Running errands as needed.
  • Cooking basic meals for the children; a cook is employed for more complex meal preparation.
  • Proxy-parenting when required.
  • Homework support.

  • Children: B5, G7 and G8 years-old
  • Days and Hours: Monday - Friday 6:45AM - 7PM (alongside an au-pair)
  • Location: Countryside Estate in Berstein
  • Start Date: October
  • Travel: Yes, international (shared with the Au-Pair)
  • Salary: €5000/month, negotiable for the right person
  • Accommodation: In a separate area of the property. Private bedroom with a shared common room with the au pair.
  • Pets: No (might get a dog in the future), though animals are present on the grounds
  • Household: Formal, Fully staffed
