Working for an American family of 7 located in Chelsea, central London. The family have a busy lifestyle living and working in London during the week, occasionally spending time at their family home in Surrey during weekends and travelling internationally in school holidays. The children range from 1 – 8 years in age and the family have a Labrador puppy. The household can be described as energetic, fun, relaxed and informal.
The role of Nanny will be responsible for 3 of the family’s children; two boys aged 4yrs and 8yrs and one girl aged 6yrs. Working alongside their mother with a mixture of shared and sole care, this role will entail collecting the children from school (by car), supporting with homework and providing a fun, stimulating and nurturing environment for them at home after school and during school holidays. On occasion there may be the requirement to travel overseas with the family and attend activities with the children. You will be passionate about providing a fun, loving and charismatic approach to their role, whilst ensuring that structure and learning is incorporated into the children’s daily routines. You must be flexible, positive, self-motivated and willing to work independently as well as part the wider household team.

Hours: Monday – Friday 2pm – 8pm term time, 10am – 8pm during holidays, (flexibility required)

Salary: DOE £ 40,000 - £45,000 gross per year
