Business + Private EA to Founder/CEO (Investments) This is a 50/50 role encompassing business and private support for an inspirational CEO.
Based within a small team of 10 in lovely offices in Knightsbridge. A top opportunity has arisen for a polished and experienced EA with a background supporting at CEO level or similar in a business and private capacity (5 years+ experience in a similar role is needed) Degree standard and a top multi tasker with energy and commitment. A top self-start with credibility and able to gain trust and respect from the beginning.
The boss is inspirational and heads up a boutique investment company that specialise in investing in the world's pressing Green issues. This is a pivotal role for him and you will be treated as management level and be "more than" an EA. Acting as interface with the executive team you will be able to grow in this role quickly.
On the business side you will run a very busy diary but keep meetings and calls & to essential tasks. Sitting in meetings and taking notes, following up on detailed action points and chasing up for delivery. Arranging Board meetings and preparing relevant documentation. Research on projects and individuals. Arranging essential travel with itineraries (the boss does not travel a lot). Dealing with all incoming correspondence + emails & flagging up important issues. Drafting replies and keeping a track of important replies and issues. Preparing presentations and updating the website/social media. Assisting with HR administration and onboarding new employees. Liaising with the head of finance on all office issues/financial matters. Attending important meetings with the CEO, you will be confident, articulate and be able to take detailed notes and take an instrumental part.
Supporting the CEO in a private capacity running a busy and fluid personal diary with meetings, events, birthdays and wider family issues. You will also liaise with the household staff, keeping the private diary for the household including the activities of the two children. Dealing with the two nannies (live-out) on any arrangement for the children and arrangements to be made. All personal travel (minimal).
Household Management to include assisting with any renovations, repairs, trades and contractors. Sourcing new trades, checking deliveries and finding competitive quotes when needed. Dealing with purchases, checking invoices and payments. Private PA experience is essential for this role.
Liaising with schools and tutors and dealing with any necessary paperwork required. The nannies are happy to assist in the smooth running of the CEO's life and take on some more junior aspects of a PA role to assist.
This is a very busy and responsible role which is highly interesting and involving and not a regular 9 - 5 role. The team are passionate and highly connected to what they do and have that "can do" attitude to their role. This is a role where you have to be highly interested in what the company does and want to follow their ethics and see the company grow and flourish.
