Location: Holland Park, London international travels
Principals: 2 adults ( occasionally their adult children or guests)

Salary: £50K gross per annum

Busy Principals living in Holland Park are looking for an experienced chef to join them and provide quality daily meals. They mostly follow a plant-based diet, gluten-free, with very occasional healthy chicken and/or fish meals. They love Mediterranean Greek style food and flavours using lots of fresh and varied ingredients. They are looking for someone with a passion for healthy and clean eating, and experience travelling in their previous roles. Sourcing and the best ingredients and cooking fresh, simple meals daily in a family-style presentation.

The clients house in the South of France (where they will spend up to 3 months over the course of the year), as well as occasionally renting property in Europe for an annual family ski trip and 7-10 days villa rentals in the summer, they would like the chef to accompany them on trips for 10-14 days at a time.

The chef will work approximately 9am-6pm Monday to Friday, preparing lunch and dinner but will not be expected to stay and serve meals. Time will need to be allocated for menu planning and grocery ordering / shopping. There will be very occasional weekends for parties and events, though you will mostly need to have things ready in the fridge for them.

The ideal chef will be looking to make a long-term commitment and enjoy working in a small household. The kitchen is the "heart" of the house so the family spend time working and socialising in the kitchen during the day, as the chef you will understand the privilege and challenges of working in a family setting and have the utmost discretion and a friendly but calm personality.

The role is to start in November 2023, though they are happy to wait for the right person.
