Full Time Housekeeper in Kensington

Busy family living in Kensington are seeking a confident, upbeat and hands on housekeeper to join them on a live out full time basis, 40-45 hours a week.

The family have 2 school aged boys who are pretty self-sufficient and at boarding school during the week at term times.

The family are looking for someone extremely well organised with a positive, can-do attitude and a sunny disposition and a willingness and ability to learn. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone to join a friendly and welcoming family home who enjoys keeping busy and always being one step ahead. You must be child and dog friendly too!

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

- Housekeeping - cleaning, laundry and ironing. Handwashing and organising for the dry cleaning

- Ironing

- Working with specialist surfaces (wooden floors, marble, artwork etc)

- Assisting in the kitchen to prepare simple meals now and then - a salad etc

- Any other duties asked by the employer

- Organisation of the house

- Packing / Unpacking for travel

- Help with flower arrangements

- Watering plants

- Organising the fridge and freezer

- Ordering the groceries

- Setting the table

- Clean silver / designer furniture

- Occasional heavy duty cleaning of a room

- Keeping the presentation of the house up to impeccable standard

Hours: Monday to Friday 40-45 hours 8.30am - 4.30pm or could be 8/9am for the right person. Flexibility to help extra hours as and when
