Houseman required for large home near Sloane Square

We are looking for an experienced hands on hands on Houseman all rounder for our client based near Sloane Square. You will work as a part of an established household team including Executive Assistant, PA, Security , Nannies and 4 housekeepers, as well as a chauffeur. The family has 3 children and a dog.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:
* Completing routine inspection of the house and courtyard garden, as well as Garage.
* Taking care of small repairs, and outsourcing when needed.
* Liaising with builders, decorators, contractors ,gardeners etc and ensuring that works are carried out are completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
* Making sure the house is fully functional in all areas, for example Air con, lift, TV's and the Crestron system is properly working (Must have experience with Crestron system)
* Arranging shopping, placing orders and in turn receive deliveries
* Dealing with Storage units, keeping them tidy and organised. Clearing when needed.
* Stock taking
* Arrange window cleaning
* Oversee Housekeepers, making sure cleaning is up to standard expected
* Arranging for seasonal decoration to be put up/ taken down in the house
* Assisting with serving at formal dinners, such as Thanks Giving.
* Receiving and attending to guests - ensuring all guests' stays are prepared for and that their personal needs are met
* Carrying out administrative tasks as needed by employer/ EA such as Holiday Rotas etc
* Liaise with EA and security regarding workmen in the house
* Preparing the house for any meetings that take place
* To cover other staff duties when on holiday or off with sickness, to ensure that any employee absence does not affect the running of the household
* Dog walking
* To have an intimate knowledge of the household and the needs of the residents and to fulfil these needs on a consistent, daily basis
* Be open to travel overseas/ within Europe (not for long period of time)
* Any other adhoc duties asked to ensure the house is ran smoothly

Desired skills and experience:
* Must be very hands on, resourceful, proactive, and flexible nature
* Good communicator and team worker
* Trustworthy and loyal, looking for a long term role
* A clean driving license with experience driving in London

Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm. Occasional weekend when the family returns from overseas Location: Close to Sloane Square
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 DOE
