Live Out Couple required for family in London

Lovely young family of 4 are seeking an experienced household couple to manage and run their London home in Holland Park. This is a live out role, so you will need to have your own accommodation.

The family are 2 young children who are at school and have nannies. There is also one other housekeeper to help with the housekeeping and laundry. They live in a large 6 storey property In Holland Park/Notting Hill.

The role couple role will typically be split Handyman/Driver & Housekeeper/Cook.

Houseman: You will be a real all-rounder candidate with a muck in attitude, happy to ‘roll up your sleeves’ and get in involved with whatever is required to ensure a smooth running of this large household. You will work alongside a small team including housekeepers, nannies and PAs. You will need to have experience driving in London, as you will be required to  drive the clients for work, errand running and so on (a Tesla will be provided for this).

Aside from driving you will also be helping with any basic DIY matters in the house, liaising with the rest of the staff to ensure any maintenance issues are taken care of. Helping with the transportation of luggage and so on.

Housekeeper: Full housekeeping and laundry duties, top notch ironing skills required for the gentleman’s business shirts. Responsible for the ordering of household groceries and supplies. Some light simple family cooking.

The family like to entertain a lot, so if you were able to help at dinners parties, this would be great. Silver service experience would also be a huge advantage but not a necessity. This is a new role, so you can really make it your own and work with the client to ensure the day to day routine and upkeep of the property is spot on. You will need to have a flexible and hardworking attitude, able to switch fluidly between tasks required. 

Location: Holland Park

Starting: ASAP

Salary: £50,000-£60,000 gross per annum (between you)

Hours: Monday – Friday, exact timings tbc
