Professional and Experienced House Manager UHNW client - South West London

UHNW client is seeking an experienced House Manager to run a large estate in a leafy suburb of South West London. You will work closely with the Principal and the team in the Central London office to ensure the household is ran with precision at all times.

You will work alongside other household staff and be a team player. You will have an exceptional attention to detail and the highest of standards – the client likes things ‘just so’. You will be experienced with luxury items – art, antiques, clothing, fresh flowers and so. The client enjoys entertaining and holding dinner parties so you will be happy to plan and assist with these.

This is a hands on role where you will be responsible for staff recruitment and training if needed. You will be responsible for the household budgeting and rotas for the team. This is an all-encompassing role and a fantastic position to be a part of a well-oiled UHNW environment. The principal travels for around 6 months of the year, when he in residence you will be expected to work as and when required – and they are looking for someone who loves their job and goes the extra mile.

Clean driving licence essential and confident in and around central London (own car would be advantageous).

You will have a strong character and good communication skills. You must be trustworthy and able to demonstrate that you can handle confidential information appropriately. Loyal and a proven track record with top references.

Salary £60,000 -£65,000 gross per annum  + bonus and bens (dependant on experience)

Hours: Full time, 5 days a week with some weekend work required.  Events and travel may be required, both to rural locations in the UK and internationally. Some requirement to respond to calls and messages outside of working hours.

Location: South West London, close to Richmond.
