A super hands-on Head Butler with management duties is required by a lovely down to earth principal in the heart of West London. You will need to have demonstrable experience of running a high-level household, be confident managing staff and giving the principals the 5-star treatment. Must be polished and well-spoken with a can-do attitude. This is a small household team and therefore you must be willing to adapt to and be flexible when required. It is essential that this person can remain calm when plans change and can deliver when the pressure is on.

Key Responsibilities to Include: (but not limited to)

• Head Butler in Notting Hill for a large and busy family house responsible for its staff, maintenance and running.
• Valet and some driving duties for the Principal.
• Travel to the principal's home in Italy and Oxford, ahead of trips to prepare the home for arrival and also run F&B service.
• Wardrobe management and packing assistance for the principal.
• Responsible for house maintenance, liaising with contractors and organising repairs.
• Assist housekeepers as required and take responsibility for the presentation and running of the London and Oxford properties and Italy when in residence.
• Errand running, collecting shopping, special items etc.
• Organising grocery shopping, flowers and arranging.
• Driving the family on an Ad-hoc basis.
• Management of household inventories and policies.
• Caring for artwork, furniture, and clothing.
• Assisting with planning dinners, children's parties etc.
• Responsibility of car fleet in the UK - 5 cars.
• Happy to assist in the kitchen on a basic level occasionally when needed.

Essential Criteria:

• Live locally to Central London.
• Full UK driving license and knowledge driving in London.
• Exceptional English, both spoken & written.
• Full DBS check.
• Reliable, honest, trustworthy.
• Great communicator who works well Individually but is also a team player.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and travel in the EU.
• Non-smoker.
• Thorough attention to detail and high standards to ensure the smooth daily running of the household.
• Excellent checkable references.
• Butler/Front of house experience and driver experience important.

As the head butler you will have an exceptional eye for detail and strive to provide the best service for the principal and family. You will facilitate and maintain a calm home environment, ensuring the household team are delivering an elevated service and the home is well presented at all times.

Hours & Salary: Monday to Friday with some flexibility required.
£70,000 - £80,000 DOE
