Live in Housekeeper for a Country Estate in Essex

Job Descriptions

Our client is seeking a hands on and proactive housekeeper to look after their large Georgian home set in the beautiful North Essex countryside. You will be responsible for the day to day cleaning and housekeeping and laundry for the family.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Daily cleaning and upkeep of the home
- Using specialist cleaning products
- Handling clothing and dealing with laundry and ironing
- Running occasional errands (drivers licence required)
- Looking after the animals when the family travel (2 dogs and some chickens)
- Occasional cooking
- Any other adhoc tasks asked by the client

This is a full time live in role, a 2 bedroom studio is provided in the grounds of the estate. 
Working Monday to Friday, occasional weekend work agreed in advance
The family also employ a Personal Assistant and a team of gardeners look after the grounds.
Salary will depend on the individual
