A switched on Household Couple required in Hampshire, near Alton GU34.

This family of 4 who run their own business elsewhere have 2 children aged 5 and 18 months, are in search of a professional and hands on domestic couple to help run their home and grounds.

It’s a five bed Georgian property over two floors with a mix of antiques, artwork and some newer modern aspects. The successful candidates will be domestically enthusiastic, love children, be able to cook simple meals for the children (and on occasion the whole family) have strong organisational skills, be self-motivated and reliable.

The role will be split housekeeper/cook/light childcare and Handyman/Gardener. All housekeeping, laundry and ironing, plus some household shopping and running errands. Tending to the garden, mowing the lawn etc, simple DIY in and outside the house and generally mucking in where needed to ensure the house is in top condition at all time and ran smoothly. Ideally at least one of you will be a confident driver with a clean licence.

This role would suit a down to earth couple, self-starting, punctual, organised and reliable who enjoys being part of a family home.

Hours: Tuesday – Saturday 8am – 7pm (with flexibility)Ideally you will work on a Saturday so the parents can spend some one on one time together. 

Location: Bentworth, a lovely rural location in Hampshire

Salary: circa £50,000 - £55,000 gross per annual (joint) up to £60K for the right candidate DOE

Accommodation: Self-contained apartment in a building in the grounds – currently undergoing refurbishment.  

Other benefits: A discretionary bonus will be considered after a year based on your performance and additional bonuses will be considered to reward long-term commitment.
