An amazing role has arisen for a hands on Chief of Staff used to working for an UHNW family with high standards and expectations. This is mainly a lifestyle management role with property renovations both in the UK and abroad for luxury homes. Excellent experience of property, top level renovations and dealing with lawyers, architects and trades on various property matters. Top logistics skills the family travel 4 months of the year and you will fly ahead to the residence or the yacht to make sure all is in order and any remedial work or goods are ready for their arrival (family with children + staff). You will organise their complex travel from door to door and do preliminary research on trips etc. They also charter the yacht when not in use. You will have worked at an international level and feel relaxed and informed with regard to their requests. Some assistance within the Household and staff will be required to keep things running smoothly (they have a well running team at present)

Reporting directly to the Principal overseeing the private investments & personal assets UK & worldwide. Review and conduct due diligence on all new and potential investment opportunities and manage the investment process and reporting. Key-point of contact with lawyers/banks/accountants and other third parties. Liaise with Accountant on tax matters regarding personal investments Conducting research on any planned investments
Read and review all pertinent information/documents regarding personal investments and assets and report into the Principal the distilled points for his consideration/decision. Ensuring all matters are dealt with in a timely manner, prioritizing time sensitive matters. Keep an up-to-date electronic filing system of all private investments & legal matters Analyse content and provide a commercial view on private investment matters and next steps. Consulting with an accountant or lawyer when required. Monitor investment performance on all investments & give regular updates Proof-read, distil and summarise investment, banking and legal documents into succinct information for the Principal. Complete necessary regulatory requirements for donations, trusts, portfolios and new investments
Flag up any issues and give informed opinions when required Manage the principal’s personal finances & expenditure and provide a monthly report. Deal with all private insurances and obtain comparative quotes to include residences, cars & other assets Monitor renewal dates on all insurances and obtain comparative quotes. Assist with any budgets and management of refurbishment works to family residences or property investments in the UK or abroad. Manage any personal payroll requirements Create employment contracts for personal staff
Manage & purchase all family transport Manage all assets for the Family, including UK and international property Support with various ad-hoc requests Travel with the Principal on occasion when required. Attend external meetings on behalf of the Principal if necessary. Available out of hours on urgent matters. A high level of discretion and confidentiality is expected in this role and excellent references provided.
