Nanny/Housekeeper in Teddington
Job Description
A lovely family based in Teddington is seeking a warm, proactive nanny/housekeeper to join them on a permanent basis from September. The role could also start ASAP for the right candidate.
They are looking for someone experienced, nurturing, and highly organised with an understanding of sensory processing needs, emotional regulation, and supporting children who find transitions challenging. The role involves caring for their bright and energetic 4-year-old, alongside helping with household duties to keep the home running smoothly.
Key Nanny Responsibilities:
- Before and After-school care, preparing for bedtime, and some full days, depending on the child's schedule
- Planning engaging, stimulating activities based on the child's interests and energy levels
- Supporting with drop-offs & pick-ups
- Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the child
- Providing structure and consistency in routine
Housekeeping Responsibilities:
- Light tidying and upkeep of the home during the day
- Running errands as needed (groceries, dry cleaning etc.)
- Batch cooking or meal prep for the family
- Family laundry and ironing
- Maintaining general household order and organisation

- Start Date: ASAP or September 2025
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, approx. 35-40 hours per week (7am - 9 am (2 hours) and 3 pm - 9 pm (6 hours) typically, but exact schedule to be confirmed
- Location: Teddington, TW11
- Children: One boy, 4 years old
- Salary: £20-25 gross per hour, DOE
