We are seeking an experienced, full-time Nanny for a warm and international family based in Central London. The position is live-out ideally starting on a temp basis, with the opportunity to become permanent, and begins in mid-October 2024. The role will primarily take place in London, but the family also spends several months each year in Cairo, where they have a luxury villa in a gated community. If you are open to travelling with them, they would love to extend a permanent contract.

The family consists of a bright and outgoing 2-year-old girl who attends nursery a couple of mornings each week. She thrives on routine and enjoys a variety of activities, including music and art classes, as well as learning through play. With her bubbly personality and keen intellect, she's a joy to care for, and her parents are looking for someone who can nurture her development through a Montessori-style approach, focusing on age-appropriate learning and play.

The parents themselves are kind and low-key. Dad is English and works in tech, while Mum, originally from Egypt, is a doctor who works remotely. They are hands-on parents who value a gentle and calm approach to childcare. They place a high emphasis on hygiene, given the mum's medical background, and they are seeking a nanny who can align with these high standards. Although they are a close-knit family, they understand the importance of allowing their daughter to build independence through structured activities, and they are looking for someone who can support this with creativity and care.

In London, the family lives in a high-rise flat near Warren Street, NW1, where the renovation is just finishing up. They are surrounded by a great support system, including a full-time housekeeper who also cooks, a part-time household assistant, and a private PA. Although the role will include some light cooking for the child if needed, most household tasks will be managed by other staff members. This allows the nanny to focus primarily on the child's well-being, education, and development.

This is a Monday to Friday position, with hours from 9 am to 6 pm. Occasionally, the nanny will be required to babysit in the evenings, though this will rarely go beyond 11 pm. Flexibility is essential, as the family may need additional support on these evenings. The nanny will also need to be comfortable with shared care, as the parents are both very involved in their daughter's life.

While in London, the nanny will take the little girl to the nursery and accompany her to various activities. The ability to plan fun and educational outings in the city is a must, as the parents are keen for their daughter to explore and engage with her surroundings. London knowledge is essential, and the family is looking for someone savvy about local playgroups, parks, and cultural opportunities for children.

When the family travels to Cairo in February, the nanny will join them, living in their luxury villa, which is fully staffed. The nanny will continue to support the child's routine and developmental activities during their stay. All travel and living expenses will be covered by the family, and the nanny will have their own accommodations.

This role is perfect for a nanny with proven experience in high-net-worth households, someone who thrives on organization, teamwork, and child development. The family is kind, and respectful, and values discretion, and they're looking for someone who will complement their way of life while providing the best possible care for their daughter.

If this opportunity excites you and you are ready for a role that offers variety, travel, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on a young child's life, we would love to hear from you.

They come highly recommended by their current nanny, whom we placed 2 years ago!
