Nanny/Governess in Monaco
Job Description
A lovely international family is seeking a warm, proactive, and experienced nanny with a teaching background to support their two school-aged daughters (5 and 7) on a live-out basis in Monaco. We have placed their current nanny/teacher in London, and they come highly recommended!
The girls are bright, curious, and in a well-established routine. The focus of the role will be on supporting their schoolwork, encouraging a love of learning, and planning fun, enriching activities to complement their education.
This position would suit a qualified teacher or educator with a nurturing approach, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working with children. A love of travel and flexibility during school holidays is important, as the family occasionally travels internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality after-school care from 1 PM to 8 PM, Monday to Friday
- Support the children with homework and school projects in a creative and engaging way
- Plan and deliver educational activities that support ongoing development
- Maintain a structured, stimulating, and positive routine
- Organise outings and age-appropriate experiences, particularly during holidays
- Accompany the family on occasional international trips, ensuring the children’s safety and well-being
- Some light PA duties related to the girls and occasionally the mum (errands, invoices, orders, etc
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified teacher or experienced nanny with a strong educational background
- Confidently supporting children aged 5 to 7 in both academic and social-emotional development
- Energetic, organised, and genuinely passionate about children’s learning
- Fluent in English; French is also a must, given the Monaco setting
- Comfortable with occasional travel and adaptable during school holidays
- Location: Monaco
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 1 PM – 8 PM (plus flexibility during school holidays and for travel)
- Children: G5 & G7 years-old
- Languages: Fluent French and English
- Salary: €50–60K GPA, negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
