A warm and dynamic family in Oslo is looking for a dedicated live-in nanny to join them and care for their two young children: a 3-month-old baby and a lively 2-year-old toddler. This is a permanent role offering stability, a competitive salary, and an exciting opportunity to be part of a loving household.
Dad is a doctor working shifts, while mum works full-time and is currently on maternity leave. As a nanny, your day will start with helping the children get ready, particularly the toddler, who attends kindergarten daily. For now, your mornings will primarily involve caring for the baby, ensuring their daily routine runs smoothly, with engaging activities and lots of care. Depending on the dad's schedule, your working day might change, though you will know your days and hours in advance.
In the afternoons, once the toddler returns home, your role will shift to preparing dinner for the children and supporting their evening routine, including bath and bedtime. The family appreciates someone who can assist with light housekeeping duties related to the children, such as laundry, tidying their spaces, and managing occasional grocery shopping.
Flexibility is key, as the family values a nanny who can occasionally assist on weekends when dad's shifts overlap, and mum could use an extra hand with the children. These additional hours will be planned well in advance. The family loves to travel and would like their nanny to join them on trips, including a holiday in mid-February (15th-22nd).
The ideal candidate is fluent in English, energetic, and playful, with a natural ability to engage children in stimulating and age-appropriate activities. Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework is a bonus but not essential. Accommodation will initially be within the family home. However, by June 2025, you'll have your own private, self-contained apartment within their refurbished home, complete with a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and private entrance-a spacious 50 sqm setup perfect for independence.

UHNW family of 7 is seeking a professional and hands on House Manager/Butler/Houseman to join their team in Paris and work on a rota schedule. The successful candidate will work closely with other household staff, including nannies, housekeepers, a chef, and a personal assistant, to ensure the seamless operation of a well-run household.
This role is practical and hands-on, requiring a blend of high-level service skills and practical maintenance abilities. The candidate must be proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable to the dynamic needs of the family.



Key Responsibilities
Household Management/Butler

  • Serve at the table for formal dinners and casual meals when required.
  • Prepare breakfast for the children and assist with hosting guests.
  • Update and maintain household manuals, ensuring all systems, codes, and schedules are current.
  • Liaise with and oversee vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Coordinate online orders, including managing deliveries from online platforms.

Maintenance & Security

  • Perform light maintenance tasks (e.g., plumbing checks, basic AC troubleshooting).
  • Proactively and reactively maintain the property, including regular inspections.
  • Supervise gardening efforts and liaise with trusted suppliers.
  • Manage maintenance schedules and contracts in collaboration with the Household Manager.
  • Ensure the safety and security of the household at all times.

Practical Duties

  • Walk and care for the family's dog.
  • Assist with cleaning and upkeep of facilities such as the sauna.
  • Care for fine arts, antiques, silverware, and vehicles.


Essential Skills & Requirements

  • Experience: Proven track record in a similar role within an UHNW household.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, whatsapp, and basic troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, TVs, appliances).
  • Service Excellence: Strong etiquette and ability to deliver discreet, unobtrusive service.
  • Organisation: Detail-oriented with experience in creating and maintaining checklists.
  • Children & Pets: Comfortable around children and working in a family environment, with a genuine love for animals.

An opportunity has arisen to support this prominent UHNW businessman in his Brussels office as an Executive PA. 

 

Covering his business matters 70% with some private support 30% based full time in the office alongside a private focused assistant you will be scheduling appointments, booking meetings and ensuring time efficiency.  Heavy travel arrangements for all of Europe including itineraries and logistics.  Working closely with the European team daily and co-ordinating to ensure things run smoothly and the logistics working. Producing top level documents, managing expenses, daily inbox management and flagging priorities, gatekeeping to personal appointments and administrative needs. 

 

You will be Fluent in English & French. The right to work in Brussels (EU) is essential however relocation costs will be allocated if you are not presently based in the area.

 

You will be flexible to support out of hours, sharing the 24/7 nature of the role with the Private PA. You will be experienced in a similar role, and comfortable with the duties as stated, preferred is 10+ years experience and be of graduate calibre.
