House Manager - New York/Hamptons/London

An unrivalled opportunity has arisen for an experienced House Manager (10 years+) within an UHNW household in the UK (preferably London)  Experience in the US would be a plus.

Able to take the reigns on an UHNW family with a luxurious apartment in New York and estate in the Hamptons and a large residence in London.  Travel with the family with each destination will be required.  Polished with high standards, highly organised and able to take control of the budgets, hiring and general running of the residences. Organising parties and events for the family and assisting with the detailed travel arrangements.

Based in New York (where you will rent) and staying at the Hamptons over the summer period.

Flexibility is key and able to stay  calm under pressure and lead by example.

Wonderful returning clients of ours are seeking a professional couple to joint their busy household in Paris.
The property is a large 7 bedroom townhouse over 4 floors. The family consists of 4 children and 1 dog, requiring dedicated care and attention.
The couple will need to speak fluent French & English, Spanish is also a bonus.
You must have an EU passport or the right to work in France to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities:
Property Maintenance

• • Overseeing the general upkeep of the property
  • Liaising and meeting vendors and suppliers
  • Updating household manuals
  • Reactive and proactive maintenance of the property on a regular basis
  • Ensuring the safety and security of the household at all times
  • Regularly interacting with the Household Manager in relation to property maintenance
  • Supervising the maintenance of the garden
  • Daily driving for the Principals and Children
  • Confident in silver service for events and dinners

Housekeeping

• • Daily cleaning
  • Purchase of cleaning and home supplies
  • Looking after the management of the laundry: washing and ironing of the clothes, including delicates
  • Shoe polishing
  • Window cleaning
  • Maintenance of the gym area
  • Helping with unpacking and packing luggage
  • Confident in silver service for events and dinners

Vehicles

• • Looking after the cleaning and tidying of household cars
  • MOTs and servicing: booking, management and report of faults to the household manager

Personality Traits

• Familiar but not friendly to the owners, warm but professional in his approach
• Happy to work around children
• Enjoys looking after the family’s pets
• Flexible and happy to work on weekends when/if necessary
• Well presented, spoken and charming
• The couple should be able to be independent but knows the importance of working together to achieve the best results
• Has great presentation skills and is able to represent the household when necessary
• Confident in Silver Service

Domestic Couple Position in Paris (16th arrondissement)
Type: Live in. Separate accommodation will be provided for the couple
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: 70,000 euros annually (joint)
Work schedule: Wednesday to Sunday, occasional change of schedule for events, time off during the day for breaks, gym, etc.
