Private PA - UHNW Household - St John's Wood NW8

A great role has arisen for a dedicated and hands on Private PA to primarily support the wife of this UHNW Principal in a luxurious 7 bedroom residence of the highest standard. You will have excellent Private PA experience of 5 years based within a luxury household and work with a high level of discretion and confidentiality. Excellent references are required.

Experience working at UHNW level with an understanding of the level of support & standards essential.

A wide and recent knowledge of London and what it has to offer including latest restaurants, shows and high-end shopping experiences.

Excellent contacts within beauty, styling and fashion and your own "little black book" of suppliers/contacts to draw upon. Experience working with a luxury wardrobe is needed, this is an important aspect of the role for the Principal. Good humoured, helpful with a "can do" attitude, your standards will be high, reporting directly to the Principal

  • Based in the London ( .NW8)and meeting the client within the residence or on site where needed Flexible and available outside of normal hours and weekends occasionally.
  • Manage a busy & very heavy diary & schedule for all personal requirements with multiple changes and creating a forward schedule of weekly/monthly and quarterly projects & events
  • Flagging up important diary dates & updating the Principal regularly
  • Book all private meetings, co-ordinating with internal and external parties.
  • Booking restaurants, theatres, events and organising private dinners/lunches & parties
  • Book all private appointments; medical, professional, beauty, health & fitness/trainer etc
  • Arrange extensive national and international travel & transfers compiling detailed itineraries
  • A top knowledge of luxury travel is required. You will be used to managing last minute changes and always have plan B ready. Booking private jets, yachts and luxury accommodation
  • Researching and booking holidays and trips and obtaining best prices within budget
  • Arrange visas, vaccines, cars and transportation from departure to arriving to destination
  • Manage household staff/rotas, holidays and recruitment acting as the bridge between staff and the Principal
  • Managing the payment of all household bills, invoices, receipts and credit card payments, reconciling on a monthly basis
  • Project management of and supervising of trades & suppliers for the residence.
  • Monitor expenses and approval of invoices Liaising with accountants and lawyers when needed and report back to the Principal
  • Create household and lifestyle manuals. Updating on a regular basis. Manage private club memberships & renewals.
  • Deal with all personal insurances. Obtain quotes for renewals
  • Assist with any support/visits to vet with pets (two small terriers with the family) Dealing with insurance issues & follow up
  • Managing client's gift lists, and overseeing the procuring and purchasing of gifts
  • Liaison with stylists and personal shoppers, running errands.
  • Assisting with wardrobe & personal shopping. Maintaining an inventory of high value items of clothing, accessories and jewellery.
  • Organising and planning events/parties. Dealing with caterers, menus & florists. Co-ordinating with Principal.
  • Assisting with matters regarding schooling, tutors and after school activities/birthdays for the teenage child of the Principal
  • Ad hoc duties when needed

The role is to start in July when the family arrives from the USA to take up residence in London.
