This is an interesting and diverse role working for an UHNW family with children based in Paris who have an extremely busy business & family life.  The role is split 70% private/mixed support + 30% business support.  You will live in Paris or in easy striking distance of Paris (Essential)

Working from the Paris office and visiting the family home (nearby) when needed the family are interesting, charming and international who also have several international residences and travel extensively during the year

Sorting out a large range of personal matters including: diary management for the Principals and dealing with multiple changes. Insurances for valuables, household, cars etc and maintaining a highly organised filing system both electronic and paper.  Arranging personal holiday, travel and itineraries.  Liaising with the household staff on all matters (nanny will support with the children's activity  schedule).  Personal shopping and gift buying.  Booking restaurants, theatre and events.

Drafting letters and emails, arranging meetings and planning ahead that all relevant parties know of changes.  Research, phone calls and CRM management on contacts.

Head of UK Family Office                                                                                      London

A London based Family Office with varied interests that currently include Art and Film production and Property Development, is looking for a Head of UK Family Office, with strong experience of tax and legal matters.  The Family are interesting and inclusive and the role will cover both the corporate and private interests of the family across a wide variety of sectors.

This position requires strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and external service providers.

Accounting experience is a pre-requisite and familiarity with Xero, extremely useful. The successful candidate will likely have a practice background and an understanding of legal and tax implications and structures will be helpful, enabling rigorous review and discussion of documents and proposals.

This is an extremely busy and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will also likely have previous Family Office experience and thus understand the need to be flexible (both in range of duties and hours), autonomous and very “hands-on”, rather than relying on a support team.

Responsibilities likely to include:

  • External Service Provider Management: Build and maintain relationships with external service providers such as lawyers, accountants, investment advisors, architects, building contractors, Trustees and insurance brokers to ensure the family's interests are effectively represented. Wealth Management: Oversee all aspects of the family's financial affairs, wealth planning corporate structuring, estate planning, tax optimization, risk management, and philanthropic activities. Client Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact for the family members, ensuring their financial needs, goals, and preferences are understood and addressed effectively. Monitoring costs and expenditure across all projects and entities and development of new financial analysis to add to a growing suite of reporting. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including company secretarial, data privacy, financial reporting, and risk management protocols. Continual Improvement.  Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to enhance the efficiency of the family office operations. Team Management: Recruit, train, and lead a team of professionals to deliver high-quality services to clients, ensuring a collaborative and supportive work environment. Personal Assistant for UHNW Principal & Partner (Mayfair W1) 9 – 6 with flexibility out of hours.

This is an interesting and hands on role for an experienced Private PA with excellent business skills who is happy to work remotely for most of the year.

This is a 70/30 split of private & business support.

The Principal and his partner will be in residence in Mayfair for approximately 2 – 3 months of the year, their main residence being in Rome.  Ideally you will

be London based for easy access to the office in St James’s and the London apartment in Mayfair when needed.  The Principal is German and his partner is American.  There are 4 children between

9 – 14 years of age.  You have access to work in the Family Office in St. James’s when you choose to outside of when requested to come in when the Principal is in London.  There will be

an Office Manger there full time, an analyst and the Head of Family Office will be there 2 – 3 days of the week.

The Principal is a very successful UHNW tech investor who has international investments and interests so any experience on an international level and various time zones is needed

A background supporting at CEO or HNW level is expected to understand the standard required.

There are a number of individuals involved in the private support of the Principal and his family to include the Head of Family Office who is based in London and a full time Housekeeper.

In Rome there is a full time butler, nanny and housekeeper.

Duties

  • Personal and business calendar management (70:30 split) for both the Principal and his partner. 
  • Liaising with international staff & colleagues when needed with regard to schedules and requirements
  • Arranging all meetings both business and personal including any necessary paperwork, transport and information required
  • Collating any paperwork necessary for business meetings
  • Personal and business travel with detailed itineraries, booking of cars, hotels and arranging currency, visas and any travel documentation required.
  • Booking both commercial and private jet, sourcing the best possible deals
  • Family holidays; research into hotels, destinations and arranging all travel requirements as above. 
  • Arranging any private appointments to include doctors, dentists, lawyers etc
  • Lifestyle management;  private trainers, nutritionists, yoga, retreats, salons, hairdressers etc
  • Arranging private dinners, catering, flowers and invitations
  • Booking all entertainment, private parties, restaurants & venues.  Sourcing theatre tickets, opera, ballet and sporting events
  • Assistance with the running of the household budget
  • Dealing with any issues arising within the Mayfair apartment, arranging for any household staff required
  • Manage all the administration of the apartment
  • Dealing with personal and household insurances
  • Purchasing personal items & gifts when required.
  • Dealing with all online orders and returns
  • Dealing with online grocery shopping and deliveries/wine purchase
  • Arranging events, birthdays, outings and giving support to the children when required

The role is a 50/50 split of OM and PA duties to include:
