Financial Controller Property

£65,000 - £75,000

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to work within a dynamic, high spec property development group.

Candidates should be ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified, but those who are QBE with extensive commercial experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Consolidation of Management Accounts across the Group
  • Profit and Loss, Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Calculate actual expenditures and rolling forecast
  • Inter-company reconciliations
  • Preparation of budget and financial plans
  • Preparation of financial statements (operating and investment)
  • Present financial reports to Directors and Investors including reports of current and prospective developments
  • Ensuring timely preparation of full set of financial statements for audit
  • Review tax matters (such as VAT and corporate/income tax)
  • Detailed analysis for the Group, including identifying and evaluating strategic business risk and mitigation
  • Performing credit reviews for potential tenants and suppliers
  • Serving as a key driver for implementation of Group policies, processes and systems
  • Attend funding meetings
  • Involvement in capital approval process
  • Liaising with external auditors
  • Negotiating with investors and financial institutions
  • Oversee work of on-site transactional accounts team

Candidates should be very commercially minded with the ability to interact with individuals across all areas of the business. You should have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
