We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to work within a dynamic, high spec property development group.
Candidates should be ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified, but those who are QBE with extensive commercial experience will also be considered.
Responsibilities for this role include:
- Consolidation of Management Accounts across the Group
- Profit and Loss, Balance sheet reconciliations
- Calculate actual expenditures and rolling forecast
- Inter-company reconciliations
- Preparation of budget and financial plans
- Preparation of financial statements (operating and investment)
- Present financial reports to Directors and Investors including reports of current and prospective developments
- Ensuring timely preparation of full set of financial statements for audit
- Review tax matters (such as VAT and corporate/income tax)
- Detailed analysis for the Group, including identifying and evaluating strategic business risk and mitigation
- Performing credit reviews for potential tenants and suppliers
- Serving as a key driver for implementation of Group policies, processes and systems
- Attend funding meetings
- Involvement in capital approval process
- Liaising with external auditors
- Negotiating with investors and financial institutions
- Oversee work of on-site transactional accounts team
Candidates should be very commercially minded with the ability to interact with individuals across all areas of the business. You should have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
