Live-in Tutor/PA/Nanny to High Profile Family Notting Hill

A wonderful opportunity has arisen for an experienced, educationally-focused tutor/pa/nanny to join this high profile and influential family based in their beautiful home in Notting Hill. 

You will need to have 5 years + experience working in a busy household as a Tutor/PA/Nanny and have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. The role would suit a candidate who has an academic or teaching background or experience supporting secondary school aged children with homework and extra curricular activities. 

The family and children have extremely busy lives and you will be coordinating with a team of nannies as well as the parents respective EAs and PAs on all arrangements, appointments etc. You will need to show demonstrated experience organising hectic and frequently changing schedules for the children, as well as a proactive and friendly approach. You will need to always have a plan B & C! 

Children are aged between 8-14 years (B 14 and 11 G 12 and 8) with a team of 3 Nannies in place overall- consisting of a full-time live-in, full-time live-out (11-8pm) and a weekend Nanny. A team player is essential!

The family also have a friendly dog, so this role is suited to someone who has a genuine love for animals as well as nature, you will be happy to dog sit and enjoy long walks with the children and their dog. 

You will be offered an apartment with the role and working hours are: 7am-8pm with a 2 hour break during the day (all children at school).

Main responsibilities:
•    Knowledge of the British schooling system (preparing for GCSEs/exam preparation)
•    Help with the children’s development, helping with homework, reading
•    PA duties related with the children: Liaising with the teachers, tutors, coaches doctors etc. Managing a heavy inbox and can co-ordinate 4 busy schedules.
•    Excellent English and other languages a plus
•    Confident swimmer
•    MUST drive 
•    Music/Instrument player a plus
•    Happy to be around nature and other animals
•    Travel is required during school holidays and is shared fairly with the daily Nanny.
