Butler Houseman for UHNW Family in Kensington
Job Descriptions
UHNW family known well to the agency are seeking an experienced, professional and hands on Butler / Houseman. The ideal candidate will have experience working within U/HNW London households and understand and understand what it expected in terms of level of service and maintenance.
The role will be split between houseman duties which will include basic maintenance but also checking on servicing of the pool, gym, lift and CCTV systems, you must be tech savvy and a quick thinker. The family also have 2 very loved family dogs (1 German Shepherd and 1 Cocker Spaniel) who you will be responsible to walk, feed etc daily.
There will also be some driving duties for the principals and the children, so a clean drivers licence is essential as well as experience of driving within central London.
The family enjoy entertaining, so this is where the Butler side comes in the play - you must be comfortable in both formal and informal set ups, happy to help out at dinner parties and events, helping in the kitchen or wherever is required. The family have an extensive wine cellar which an inventory is held and managed for externally, however a passion or knowledge of wine would be helpful and you will need to keep an eye on stock.
This is a new role with a busy young family who are really lovely and treat everyone very well. There are other staff employed, so you must be a team player.
Location: Kensington, London
Hours: 5 days a week to include weekends, with Monday and Wednesday being the usual days off
This could be a live in or live out role
Salary: will depend on live in/out and also individual experience, up to £45,000
