Job Descriptions

Seeking a Domestic Couple with experience of working for a UHNW family.  This is an exceptional position in the stunning countryside of Perthshire Scotland a 5 minute walk from The Gleneagles hotel. The current Couple in the role have been there for a number of years and are retiring. This is a rare opportunity to live and work in a prestigious environment.

The Couple must be hard working, both have a positive outlook and a 'can do' attitude.  They will be busy when the Principals are in residence up to 8 times per year for up to 4 weeks. There will be 1 to 10 people visiting at a time. 

There is a Housekeeper who visits the property one day per week.  When the Principals are in residence the Housekeeper will increase their hours to cover the Housekeeping allowing the Couple to focus on the other duties to ensure the Principals’ visit run smoothly.

Duties will include:

·         Housekeeping

·         Flower arranging and wardrobe management

·         Cooking for the family - healthy dishes

·         Responsible for budgets and expenses - must have strong IT skills

·         Gardening

·         Property maintenance

·         Driving

·         Food and household shopping

Teamwork with principal’s staff when they travel with them to Scotland i.e nannies and lady’s maids and sometimes their chefs.

The Couple must have complete discretion and be aware of the boundaries working for a private family.  They must be able to provide excellent references.

Start Date:       To suit Couple and Principal

Salary:              £60,000 gpa

Accommodation: 2 bedroom cottage next to the main house

                                Utility bills and Council Tax are covered by the Principal
