Live Out Head Housekeeper / House Manager in Oxfordshire OX18

Fantastic opportunity for a live out Head Housekeeper with management experience to work at a beautiful country home with swimming pool in the Oxfordshire countryside.

This London based family of 4 are ideally looking for a locally based Housekeeper to join them on a live out Monday to Friday basis. The family tend to spend every other weekend in Oxfordshire and some time during half terms, and school holidays. The family employ a live our Estate Manager and a chef and occasional housekeeper who joins them at weekends.

The house is a large 7 bedroom 7 bathroom home, and the housekeeper needs to be experienced with similar sized country homes. Your day to day duties will include but not be limited to:

• Day to day cleaning and high level housekeeping
• Understanding the use of different cleaning products on certain surfaces
• Handling artwork and antique furniture
• Laundry and ironing
• Making and changing beds when the family are there
• Ensuring the house is prepared for their arrival – stocking the fridge, pantry, setting up bedrooms etc
• Liaising with contractors and other tradespeople
• Organise repairs or services for anything in the house
• Running errands

The ideal housekeeper will:

• Have experience working within large country homes before
• Checkable references
• Happy and friendly attitude
• Flexible nature
• Passionate about looking after a home to a high standard
• Be child friendly

This is a role working for a truly lovely down to earth family.

There could be accommodaton privided for an exceptional live in candidate, but the family would prefer live out.

Starting: ASAP

Location: Oxfordshire OX10

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm

Salary: DOE £35,000 - £45,000 negotiable
