A lovely family returning to Leaman Consulting are seeking a knowledgeable, organised, and experienced temporary nanny to join them in London from late June 2025 through to mid/late January 2026. The family is currently travelling and will be arriving in London at the end of June. Their little girl will be turning 3 in August and will be starting nursery in the mornings from September. The family will return to Cairo in January 2026, but back in London permanently from July 2026, when the role would become permanent.

Mum is currently pregnant, with baby number two due in early November. Their maternity nurse (who supported the family previously) will return to assist with the newborn. The family's long-term nanny, based in Cairo, is unable to join them in the UK due to visa restrictions.

The role will involve supporting the family with all nursery duties for G2.5, including planning and engaging in age-appropriate activities, nursery drop-offs and pick-ups, meal prep, and helping with the evening routine (dinner and bath time). You will not be required to care for the newborn, but you must be confident in a busy household with a lot of moving parts and multiple adults present. Mum and grandmother are very hands-on, so this is not a sole charge role.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Energetic, experienced, and confident with the 2–4-year-old age group
  • Super organised and tidy - cleanliness is essential for this household
  • Proactive in creating a fun, educational, and nurturing environment
  • Flexible, reliable, and happy to work as part of a wider family team
  • Calm, kind, and a true “safe pair of hands” in London

This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional nanny looking for a dynamic and involved position in London.

  • Location: London, Warren Street (near Regent’s Park)
  • Contract: STC from June 2025 – January 2026, then potential to go permanent from July 2026

An affectionate, down-to-earth family of four based in Hampstead Village are seeking a daily nanny to join them on a long-term basis. They are looking for an experienced, kind, and dependable nanny who is confident caring for toddlers and preschool-aged children.

The nanny’s primary focus will be the care and development of the youngest child (14 months), with responsibilities including:

  • Planning and implementing stimulating, age-appropriate activities
  • Attending local classes and playgroups (e.g., music sessions)
  • Preparing healthy meals and snacks
  • Supporting developmental milestones and routines

The role also includes nursery drop-offs for the older child (aged 3.5), who attends a nearby nursery within walking distance. As the mother prepares to return to work, the nanny will play a key role in helping to establish and maintain consistent daily routines.

This is a sole-charge position during working hours, although the family values a collaborative approach and appreciates nannies who are communicative, proactive, and aligned with their gentle parenting style.

Additional Details:

  • A housekeeper is employed three days per week to manage household laundry and cleaning
  • The family has prior experience employing a nanny and understands the importance of a respectful, professional relationship
  • The home is located just 5 minutes from Hampstead Underground station

This is a lovely opportunity for a dedicated nanny seeking a stable, long-term role with a welcoming family who values mutual trust and open communication.

There’s also an opportunity to travel abroad with the family, but this is not a requirement.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Fluent English speaker
  • Experienced with toddlers and early years; an Early Years qualification is highly desirable.
  • Warm, calm, loving and reliable, someone who enjoys engaging with children and is attuned to their emotional and developmental needs.
  • Confident, organised and able to take initiative while respecting the family's informal, down-to-earth approach.
  • Ideally local to Hampstead or familiar with the area, living within a 30 to 40-minute commute.

Additional Details:

  • No pets or allergies in the household.
  • This is a long-term role, with the family keen to retain the nanny's support even once the youngest begins nursery.
