UHNW client is seeking an experienced House Manager to run a large estate in a leafy suburb of South West London. You will work closely with the Principal and the team in the Central London office to ensure the household is ran with precision at all times.

You will work alongside other household staff and be a team player. You will have an exceptional attention to detail and the highest of standards – the client likes things ‘just so’. You will be experienced with luxury items – art, antiques, clothing, fresh flowers and so. The client enjoys entertaining and holding dinner parties so you will be happy to plan and assist with these.

 

This is a hands on role where you will be responsible for staff recruitment and training if needed. You will be responsible for the household budgeting and rotas for the team. This is an all-encompassing role and a fantastic position to be a part of a well-oiled UHNW environment. The principal travels for around 6 months of the year, when he in residence you will be expected to work as and when required – and they are looking for someone who loves their job and goes the extra mile.

This lovely family are looking for a proactive and dynamic Houseman/Maintenance to join their busy home in Knightsbridge. Recently refurbished to a very high spec. There are other staff in the property so you must be a team player.

You will be responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of the household, ensuring that with cleaning and maintenance the house runs smoothly. 

 

Duties may include:

Job description:

Supporting the Butler Team in all aspects of service and in maintaining standards throughout the house.

 

Being present for all Principals' and Guests' front of house arrival and departure.                                             

Maintaining constant open communications with other departments such as Security and Housekeeping relating to the movements and wishes of Principals and Guests.    

                Portering all purchases or gifts to Principals.

The property is large (8000sqft) with 8 bedrooms, which have been made into 4 very large suites. You will work alongside other members of staff, including a live out housekeeper who works 10am – 3pm and has been with them for 18 years! There is also a nanny, taking care of the 2 boys aged 5 and 8 years old (so you must be child friendly), a PA for the family and a person who comes in 2 days a week help with the ironing.

You will be responsible for sharing the housekeeping workload including hands on cleaning, bed changing/making, wardrobe management, grocery & household shopping, daily healthy family cooking too. You will be top attention to detail with good communication skills to be able to deal  with contractors, window cleaners, deliveries and so on. A real muck in attitude and a team player. The family plan to possibly get a pet dog, so you must like dogs!
