A young and dynamic family living in a village in the Belgium countryside is looking for a live-in nanny to join them and help with their three children.
Their current nanny has been with them for the past 5 years and they would love to find someone who will stay with them for many years again! She would be happy to speak with potential candidates and explain the role in more detail if needed.
All three children are at school full-time (off on Wednesday afternoons, when they have a few activities). The day usually starts at 7:30am with preparing school bags, lunch and snacks, and all duties related to the children. The nanny will then have a break until school pick-up and some activities run.
The parents are usually back home from work around 7PM and take over from the nanny for the evening routine. Some babysitting might be needed during the week, though this will always be discussed in advance.
The family is looking for someone with English as their first language, as they would love the children to speak English perfectly, as well as learn about the culture, humour, and traditions.
They have a relaxed, hands-on approach and are very down-to-earth. The right candidate for them would be a team player, happy to muck in when needed, with a firm but fair approach, and a good sense of humour!
You will be working as part of a team (two housekeepers and a cook/butler) who enjoy having lunch together and helping each other out.
Their family usually spends the weekends outside the house, to another property, as well as travelling during most school holidays (2 weeks for each now in Belgium!)
